Akron Public Schools Superintendent David James told the Press Club audience that the “water is up to here” but this years budget looks OK. He also doesn’t foresee a levy on the ballot for the next few years. Figuring out where the money will come from when the Stimulus cash is gone is a major concern. Still, James foresees Akron students will attend a Stem high school in the future.

Will follow with coverage of the speech soon.
